DescriptionFirst edition. It includes a prologue by Carlos Rojas, a chronology of Edgar A. Poe´s life and a selection of Poes texts translated by María Cristina Reiss Raimundo: thirty-nine tales, ´El cuervo´, ´Philosophy of Composition´, 108 entries of ´Marginalia´ and –probably for the first time in Spain– The Journal of Julius Rodmans. Illustrated with eighty-six black and white drawings, two for text, by Ramón Calsina Baró.
Both volumes, hardbound, are presented in a slipcase illustrated with one of Goya´s Black Paintings (The Sabbath) (1819/20).
