It includes 30 tales/texts, the «Notes nouvelles sur Edgar Poe» by Baulelaire and 10 color illustrations by Auguste Leroux reproduced by the Jacomet et Cie. workshops; It also includes a black and white vignette alluding to the «Chess Player».
Printing was completed on November 20, 1933. Copy No. 990 of a print run of 2,000 copies numbered from 501 to 2,500 in «vélin du Marais».
