Linen hardcover binding in black with title on red label glued to the cover.
Limited edition of 150 copies designed and printed at Bowne & Co. Stationers by Barbara Henry and Lissa Dodington, with assistance from Julia Boltin. The text was set by hand from twelve point Scotch Roman and Italic types, donated to the South Street Seaport Museum by ATF-Davidson, specially cast by Kingsley/ATF Type Corporation from discontinued matrices created by the foundry of A. D. Farmer & Sons in 1903. The rat paragraph markers were drawn by Barbara Henry. The matrix was engraved by Henry Sherr of Sherr Engravers, Inc. and cast by Pat Taylor at the Out of Sorts Letter Foundery. The book was printed on dampened Arches Text on a Vandercook Universal I and bound by The Campbell-Logan Bindery.
