Weber; Rafael Nieves (adaptation) and Juan Gómez; Andy Ewen; John Coulthart; Matt Howard; Jeffrey B. Bonivert; Roger Langridge; Ricardo Hall; and Milton Knight. It also contains the story «The Inheritance of Rufus Griswold» by Manuel "Spain" Rodriguez and Carol Becker and brief biographies of Poe and the illustrators.
Paperback with cover illustrated in color by Skot Olsen; supplementary illustrations by Richard Corben (in «Contents», 2003), Maxon Crumb (Poe portrait on title page, scene from «The Raven» on p. 4, and scene from «The Cask of Amontillado» on p. 144, 1997 ) and Spencer Walts (Poe's portrait on p. 140, 2001).
«The Bells» had already been published by Tome Press (1999); «The Raven», in Star Reach (1979, #17) and was revised for the 2001 edition; and «The Inheritance of Rufus Griswold», in Arcade (1976, #7).
In the first edition of 2001 already appeared: «Hop-Frog» , «Spirits of the Death», «Eldorado», and «The Raven» (revised).
In 2004, «The Tell-Tale Heart», «The Masque of the Red Death», «The Cask of Amontillado», «The Haunted Palace», «The Fall of the House of Usher», «The Black Cat», and «Never Bet the Devil your Head» were published for the first time.
