DescriptionIt includes a preface by the translator, J.-H. Rosny aîné (pseudonym of Joseph Henri Honoré Boex), and twenty-two illustrations of Mittis engraved on wood by Florian. Printed and stamped edition in the workshops of Edouard Guillaume in Paris (July 1892). Volume belonging to the «Petite Collection Guillaume»; small format edition for collectors, with dutch binding with blue leather and Venetian paper. It has two title pages with the same illustration (beetle), printed in red in one case and in black in another.
At the end, there is a selection of illustrations of other works from the same collection («Nelumbo» catalogue: Werther, Arlésienne, Le Porteur de sachet ).
