DescriptionSecond edition of this selection of Poe's tales "retold for children by Manuel Vallvé". The first edition, bearing in mind the nihil obstat (21st of October, 1914), must be established in 1914. In 1937 the third edition appeared and, in 1952, the fourth. It includes eight illustrations in color by José Segrelles Albert (1885-1969). One of the two illustrations on "The Tell-Tale Heart" (the old man portrait) appears twice (in the front cover and in the text).
